Mehtaab

Mehtaab – The colour blue in Turkey as well as the ancient Ottoman Empire held and still holds a high pedestal. The famous evil eye made from blue glass was translated into shades of azure and mirror cut work in keeping with the trinkets shape. The colour in itself represents good karma and elegance – all of which are highlighted using Lajwanti’s signature antique gold highlights via hand block printing and embroidered motifs.
